Patrick J. Schmit
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Schmit possesses a wealth of experience in the gaming environment. Over the past 8 years he has earned the respect of many individuals throughout the gaming industry for his relentless approach to customer service, and dedication to meeting their needs.
Patrick graduated from the University of Iowa in 1992 with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree, with a minor in marketing. Shortly after graduation he relocated to Las Vegas to start his professional life. He began his career with Casino Data Systems, a casino on-line systems provider, as a customer service representative. During the five years he was with CDS, Mr. Schmit advanced through customer service, project management, and ultimately into the sales arena.
In 1997, he left CDS for another start-up venture, Spintek Gaming Technologies. In the position of Vice President of Sales he was responsible for the sales and marketing of the entire product line; resulting in more than 30,000 units being installed.
In late summer 2000, Mr. Schmit left Spintek and founded Ardent Gaming. The experience he gathered and the contacts made over the years were instrumental in his assembling a team of highly competent and dedicated individuals. This team will provide great success for Ardent.
